Did either of them get a a really good deal, or were they about the same in worth?
If someone got a really good deal, are they obligated by law to send it back?
I only ask this, because I am paranoid, and wouldn't want to be the seller if they are dealing with a greedy buyer.
Sorry bro. I hope this all works out for you.

I would take the torch to call the other buyer and explain the situation. He could be a set or team collector and needed something specific from that lot. Im sure he will be understanding but better safe then sorry.

Thanks guys for all the suggestions, I contacted both, and both seem willing to send the cards back. Both really seemed to want the other lot, and I hope both do send them back. What's a fair amount of reimbursment?

If the lot was under 20 bucks dlvd for each of them I wouldnt give more then 5.00 back plus shipping costs to them. At that point your talking 25% of there purchase which is a bit high.

I would reimburse them for the return shipping, ask who a few of their favorite players are and throw in a couple of cards with the lots..

You should offer them what you would expect if a mistake happened to you. The more professional and generous you are, the more they will come back as a customer. Don't forget they can still leave you a neutral if they wanted to.
Also offer free shipping or a percentage off on their next purchase with you... that helps as well. The most complete/comprehensive single player collection in the world with 95% of his Known cards & 400+ #1/1s.
