Just a few things to cover over the last few months.

I want to take a moment for the passing of ShayneShark. Shayne was a great force behind inputting a lot of the cards into the database as she would regularly update how many cards were in the database. Her prescene will be missed tremendously. She inputted so many cards when you members brought them to her attention. A replacement will be made but the loss will be felt as she worked in all sports not just a specific niche like all of the other staffers. I just wanted all the members of SCF to know she had passed as folks had mentioned a slowdown in entering sets. So, bear with us going forward. More importantly if any of you would like to help enter card into the database to help fill this void feel free to drop me a me at doniceage. Bballkm32 and MR.M's Cards will be assuming the role of Shayne as Managers in tandem.


I have talked to the dispute team and they tell me disputes are down. The majority of the disputes recently have shifted mainly too PWE's. I know these are a great way to save money but a few problems with them.

1) They can get bent in the sorting machine. Just putting Photo on an envelope does not keep them from going thru the machine, to be sorted. You have to pay extra for them to be Hand Sorted.
2) Unlike a PWE on Ebay the ones we send have no tracking number. So, if someone send one and the other party says they do not get it you are on the hook to make the trade right. Just an fyi.
3) I know there are some new cool PWE options out there. If anyone has a link of ones they think and do not break the bank please let us know.

Another matter I would like to suggest is for all you members to make your password unique so it hard for spammers and hackers to gain access. As many members who become inactive have their account hack so they can spam their website be it dating sites, good, or services etc.

Last but not least the TTM section is great free service that is probably one of the biggest part of SCF Traffic. Please remember the code of conduct applies to everyone who uses this service. Name calling and bullying people because they do not use the TTM correctly is not kosher. Take the time to share with them to how to put in the correct dates and such. If you havre issues contact me as I handle all the issues reported as time permits. I hate to have to ban folks from using the TTM forums because they cannot control themselves them from attacking folks via pm's or in the notes of the TTM.

Sad to hear about Shayneshark. She definitely did a lot for the inventory manager (I don't even think "a lot" was a good description - maybe tremendous amounts, or copious amounts, etc.). From what I've seen, especially with the football side of things. Dang, just never know. Love your close ones everyday, make sure collecting doesn't take away from family and friends.
