This is why I switched to set building. The odds of actually pulling a card you can sell for more than the $3 the pack costs is mind blowingly horrible. In retail you only get a 1:24 chance for a relic or auto, and at least 50% of the time you cant get more than a buck or two for it anymore. You're better off buying $3 scratch offs and getting a 1:4 chance of making money.
Edit--> Not that the sets are worth anything either, its just a fun past time and something I want to pass down to my kids eventually.[-- 1266 Total -- Hidden Content Cards --]

I have had good luck on retail. I have pulled dual Barry and Bobby Bonds Topps jersey and a 01 Classics Lou Gherig combo jersey bat. But I have had a lot of junk same as anyone else who take the gamble busting packs. My best retail pulls are a few years behind me though. Mainly some minihits recently but we usually know what we are getting into. /\ what is a "bird"?

hmm i like retail, hobby, and singles all work for me, retail hardly comes through though, ive had good luck with hobby recently or OK luck i guess, since christmas eve 2 boxes and 1 finest mini box and 1 pack of hardcourt, did good on those, but in my stocking 3 retail packs(bowman,ud,ultra) and in the retail packs the best thing i got was a maurice ager bowman RC, or maybe the andrew bogut gold madallion, but in the one pack of hardcourt got an auto. and singles always work,i mean i had 20 bucks today right. and decided not to get a retail box and got a magic johnson/julius erving spx jersey on ebay, who knows if you could get that in one of those retail box.
