Top five Basketball Rookies?

I forgot Garbajosa when I was creating my list (I had to edit mine too.) and he is the surprise rookie of the year and I forgot him! It's just that there is a lot of rookies this year that are all in the same range/area of skill level and almost anyone could be anywhere on that list. The only rookie that really stands out this year is Morrison and probably Bargnani, but then after that it's pretty much anyone else falling in between the #3 through #10 spots.

definetley agree with you there isn't one that stands out yet and all have quite some talent.really right now the rc of the year could be a lot of people.and def garbojasa has been the surprise of the year hes a great player.I can bargnani or morrison be rc of the year as well i think more bargnani though.

i think roy can come together and maybe pull rookie of the year off if he steps up his game. reddick hasnt shown much, but he has tons of hype. if he fulfills that hype i dont think he'll come short of all-star, but he doesnt seem to be as good as people think. he just needs to develop, so i say in a few years he and morrison will be great, along with brandon roy. were gonna have another trio like melo, wade, and lebron...but not as good (lol)

Jeremy17 - I agree with you on the subject that anyone can win the R.O.Y. right now. Personally, I hope Brandon Roy wins the R.O.Y. Lol. IMO, I think he will become the best player out of that draft class. Although, Morrison and Redick will be great too.

lghoops92 - The trio will definitely not be as great as the 03-04 trio w/ LeBron, Wade, and Carmelo, but they will improve and become decent players. Although, IMO Redick will become a Steve Kerr type of player. So I'm pretty positive Redick won't become an all-star. However, Roy and Morrison have been very promising this year. So, I guess 2/3 of the trio are playing like rookie of the year candidates.

yeh i don't think there will be as good as a trio of lebron,wade,melo for a good 25+years.I hope bargnani gets rc of the year and i think him roy or foye will become the best from this years class.Also morrison will be up there too.

Morrison and Redick are overrated. Period. Foye is pretty underrated (game-winning shot over Hinrich!). Roy is very good and do I need to get my banner out? lol Top five rookies in the hobby:

Those are the top-five booking guys when it comes to autos and stuff.

dont get me wrong, i wasnt saying they would compare to melo, wade, and lebron. i meant that they would be the 3 players that stand out among their class. bargnani is playing decent, i think he'll be the chris bosh of the class. as for garbajosa, i cant classify him with the 2003-2004 season (lol) but he's definitely standing out as a strong player and a great pick. either morrison or roy will rake rc of the year, and i agree that reddick will become a steve kerr, not the go-to guy, but a great asset.

Morrison hasn't had even a 10 point game in about 1.5 months. Last night was hilarious! If he gets ROY, it will be the most rediculous thing ever!!!!!

Garbajosa is like Marquis Daniels. He was a free-agent but pushed to the top to be a top rookie of that year.
