ebay rant
first of all i didn,t know how the make best offer worked i saw an eli manning bowman gold auto jersey numbered to 100 so i had my wife offer 10 dollars i got an angry email from the seller asking why i would offer a ridiculous 10 dollars i didn,t respond he told me never to bid on any of his items,if i do respond here are the 2 responses i might give let me know which one is best,by the way he had a buy it now for 60 bucks.
response 1 oh i,m sorry i meant to offer 100 bucks but i must have missed a zero sorry about the error but since you don,t want me to bid on your items that,s fine with me.
response 2 my son only had 10 dollars and asked me to offer it because he said you never know what people will take for cards.

Why lie? Just tell him sorry and make a better offer. Honesty goes a long way with most people.

sorry if this comes out the wrong way, but my opinion would be to not offer $10 on a $60 item....BUT the seller shouldn't have came back with anything...there is a way to set it up to automatically decline any offer below a certain amount (so that is the sellers fault for not doing that)...I sell alot on ebay and occasionally set up a best offer with a buy it now...I get upset when someone offers something way below my asking price, but I never reply or block them from future bidding. If I were you, I would just let it go...you probably dont wanna deal with this guy anyways, so your probably better off just not replying

ok premium 1981 what does make best offer mean to you ,to me it means the lowest offer you think you can get a card for ,if you don,t want ridiculously low offers don,t even give the buyer that option,besides it,s not lying ,he didn,t need to respond so rudely why should i say i,m sorry i did nothing wrong i made my best offer all he had to say was no thanks,you say honesty goes along way with people well so does rudeness,i wouldn,t bid on another one of his items regardless what the price was just my opinion though take care steve
