    JP's Running BGS Orders

    This thread I'll document my BGS orders and the registries I'm working on. Beckett can be a bit of a black box when it comes to update so this this can also help folks gauge how fast their Base service (with subgrades) is moving.

    *Update - BGS/Collector's Universe recently announced longer lead times on orders. My orders from December and January made it in under the old lead times, February and beyond are the longer ones.

    09-2025 Order



    Returned, about 3 months total turnaround time (TAT). Only questionable grade was the Chris Jones Playoff Ticket, got hammered on the surface. Everything else was within my expected range. I plan on submitting another one in January while I wait for December to make it back. I now have 124/175 of 1999 Topps Finest Refractors slabbed and in hand with another 8 in queue. 43 remain until I have the full set graded

    My TAT was about 4 months on this order. Up to 132 of 175 graded for 1999 Topps Finest Refractors. The remaining 43 are all with Beckett now.

    Another 12 cards from 1999 Topps Finest Refractors in, 2 more from 2004 Finest, and another 2024 Finest Prodigies Refractor auto. I subbed an order today that's all basketball, so I'll move this thread to the Graded forum once those come in. In the meantime, it's still all football! Back to this sub, it's the first of mine under Collector's Universe/Beckett's new flip. The BGS logo shrunk the "B", new fonts, and new location for autograph grades. The flip material seems slightly different too, more scanner friendly in my opinion. I like it but it might not be everyone's cup of tea :)

    Thanks and yes! Originally my thought was to have all 8.5 or better. Ever since BGS went to silver flips for everything not Gem/Prestine, I'm okay with 8s now too. But the 7s and 7.5s need to go.
