Nice! Will anything change with PSA buying BGS? Personally, Ibe always liked BGS slabs much more than PSA.
The most complete/comprehensive single player collection in the world with 95% of his Known cards & 400+ #1/1s.

I'm sure costs will go up over time. What they did with SGC will happen with BGS too. It'll become a sort of boutique option for brand loyal people who want uniform slabs in their collection. IMO the changes they made to the slab are welcomed.
The top two flips are the before and after when a card is autographed. Removing that square auto grade is fantastic. In my slabs you can hear them rattle around and it really put too much emphasis on a grade a lot of people don't care about very much. Integrating it into the main flip is good and it causes the BGS logo to reappear on autograph cards which is nice. It does get a little busy on the right but I'd rather have it there than a 5th sub-category.
The bottom two flips are a pre-PSA flip and post-PSA flip. The BGS logo is better looking and the for has been cleaned up.

Beckett has gone through at least 3 iterations of their flip before PSA. The first ones had sub-grades on the back. Then they brought the sub-grades on the front and added a barcode to the front. Then they dropped the barcode. Over time I think there were some minor tweaks to font sizes and spacing but really the big changes were around auto grading. Sometimes it was the separate square, sometimes it on the back of the flip, sometimes they only noted an auto grade if it got a 10, sometimes they wouldn't even note an auto 10.
The older ones are also from an older scanner. Once I have the whole set slabbed I'll redo all my scans so they are consistent.
