Thanks for letting me know. i never been a fan of COMC but that is just me. Love the idea but it grew to fast from what the original owner intended especially when it comes to cusomter service. Just like most companies when bought out they lose the original owner vision.

When did they get bought out? I didn't hear about that but it does explain a few things. I was a happy customer for a lot of years (wait times were expected but they were reliable). These last few years have been terrible.

This is what I am referring to:

In November 2023, eBay officially announced a strategic commercial agreement and made a financial investment in COMC.

Tim might still be the owner in name, but I'm not sure about the percentages, and eBay has put funds and owns a minority stake. Of course, I am sure this is part of the backlog problem, as it is not solely run by Tim and has lost touch with his true vision from when I met him and talked to him over a few years of their infancy. A great guy, but we all know when things expand, and people come into the fold, the mission for each is not the same. Hence, the integration of the two since 2023 has been far from flawless, from my observation. If you buy on the ebay platform from COMC things go without a hitch LOL.

    Hope that helps,
