I remember hearing he was 2nd in fan voting and I was thinking it was a sure thing he would make it, I was shocked when he didn't.

The coaches better wise up and vote for him next year, wouldn't want to piss Big John off.

Haha, yeah...have you seen the video of him being slapped in the face before the games? The man is a monster!

oooh yes he did. cycling in the preseason, complaining about the lack of touches and dropping the ones he did get, complaining about bledsoe, spitting at someone, and the constant need of everyone on the team/organization to try to keep him happy. i am probably missing some other stuff, but those just came off the top of my head.

The cycling in the preseason really had no affect on the team. It just brought some attention to him.

If I had a penny for every time someone complained about lack of touches, I'd be a rich man.

Complaining about Bledsoe ended up being a good thing.

And he deserves to be constantly happy since he's constantly putting up great numbers.

I can understand where you're coming from (seeing as you're an Eagles fan), and I respect that, but stats just don't lie in my eyes. I guess we've learned through various people, such as Brady, being snubbed, though, that the Pro Bowl isn't all about stats. What I don't like is that they do the voting before the most important games of the season are played, in December and January.

yeah, i also think the people in front of TO in the pro bowl are more deserving. they all have similar statistics, so i guess that had to consider other factors (distraction, dropped passes, bad behavior). and i do agree that they should pick them after the playoffs.

There's a shocker...:) An Eagles fan diss'n a Cowboys QB in the Probowl.
Romo was playing very well during the majority of the balloting for the Probowl. And even continued to play pretty well as the Cowboys lost 4 of their last 5 games. Cowboys Defense is what lead the team to those losses.
Not Romo. Yes, the botched fieldgoal attempt in the Seattle playoff game was freaky, but even then it was T.Glenn's fumble/safety that actually lost the game for the Cowboys. If not for Romo, the Cowboys would've have even made it to the dance.

i know, but he made it just because he was the hot commodity for like 4 games. noone deserves to be in the pro-bowl after ONLY 4 games, and after that he showed signs he was still just starting out as a QB: picks, bad decisions, taking bad sacks, and he became just an average QB.
