oh, im a football guy, have seen lots of tape on brown (which is pretty much all i have seen since im not that old, lol)....but i have also seen tons of barry (a few times in person) and a decent amount of payton....i remember watching barry play in philly (you know how philly fan is, right??)....well barry made like a 65 yard run that was flat out sick....55,000 eagles fans were ooooing and ahhhhhing like i have never heard in that stadium....they hate everyone!! barry literally made moves that NO other back in history was able to make....there were some tough guys, some fast guys, etc....but no one has been able to do the things barry did.....as far as payton goes, he gets a bit of a sentimental edge from people (which is cool by me, very sad story)....but dude could ball too!! wasn't a big guy like brown by any means, but every bit as tough!! bottom line is they were different backs in different eras, but all great!!

Awesome arguement i agree different eras. But we in cleveland do not get to cheer much so I got to back My Early Browns, Graham, Brown, and the rest. Heck in baseball ill argue Bob Feller is one of the best pitchers lost 4 years in his prime to WWII. and iam not that old 32.

hahaha.....im actually an indians fan (but hate baseball, so not much of a fan anymore)....i went to one of the ALCS games in 95!! love the jake, great stadium!! was actually a phillies fan (grew up big on schmidty, still my fave to this day)....when he retired, major league came out and i turned to the tribe (since ive never really like philly, just a schmidt/rose fan in my youth)....man, i miss those days!! schmidt was my boy!! got to see all kinds of good stuff (number retirement, hof induction, etc).....baseball could become cricket and i wouldn't care at all these days!!
well, im off to bed, got a big day tomorrow!! enjoy the game!! here's to tony dungy getting the ring they stole from him in tampa!!

So, everyone hear who claims that off the field stuff doesn't matter to them...you're all supportive of Terrell Owens going to the Hall of Fame, right? Since he is currently 17th in receptions, 16th in yards, and 4th in touchdowns, all numbers that will be going up...just wanted to see if you guys would put your money where your mouth is about this.

yup, he may be a moron but he deserves the hall. no reason he should not. He is probably the greatest reciver of his generation so far. He will not get in on his fiorst ballot and he should'nt but he will be in there. There are a lot of questionable people personality wise in all major sports hall of fames, Heck Ty Cobb murdered someone and he was in one of the first in cooperstown.

lol, not until monk gets in!! then we will talk about other WRs....TO is 16th and 17th all time?? monk is 6th and 11th and still cant get in, so no one gets any love from me at the moment....and TO has been a "trouble maker" on the field.....throwing teammates/coaches under the bus qualifies as on the field problems!! you dont have to be a good teammate, just dont be a bad teammate!! most likely a HOFer though
