So you're saying that UD cards are worth more than Topps cards?

no not neccesarily, but with UD you have the chance to pull a LeBron or Jordan auto which you cant do with Topps as LeBron and Jordan are signed exclusively with UD, so like i said, the chance of the "Really Big Hit" is there with UD, but you are more than likely going to end up with nothing, where was with Topps, the best you could hope for would be an Iverson or Wade auto, not worth as much as LeBron or Jordan, but you are more likely to get something nice mid-range...

but you shouldnt look at cards as how much they are worth, what you can sell them for, etc, as you will usually end up being dissapointed

What are autos, and do UD Blaster Boxes have them?

I like the 06-07 bowman. You usually get a few good cards per box and it wont cost you an arm and a leg buying it either. Im just starting out...for a second time.....and that is what i have been mainly buying. I also got a few blaster boxes of 06-07 topps. Sure there arent any high dollar cards in them but they have alot of cards per box. I pretty much collect dirk nowizki and try to complete sets. Although i havent got many dirks i have completed almost 2 06-07 topps sets. And like the others said, if you are only trying to make money off cards you will most likely become disappointed. Collect because its fun. I myself could bust packs all day. I just find it relaxing and fun.

If you are looking for individual players, I suggest you mix it up a little and buy other brands.
    Good luck and have fun,

hes right...saving your money to buy "real" boxes is a better idea...more chances @ autos/jerseys...but either way, you will still do good with most brands...but i personally stay away from Hoops and Fleer...there ugly and i hate them...but we all have our prefernces....good luck man
