Very cool. Love those error cards. Definitely inform beckett about it, as well as the company itself. You would only benefit from it, especially if you are the only one who has it. :)

...a card that was somewhat like this and what was it worth? While I'd like to keep the fantasy that I just hit the powerball numbers alive a while longer, rent is due and all...! Just curious of any examples of classic modern day error cards and how they're valued...thx

    Agian, my brain hurts.

Does anyone here remember the error craze of the early 90's. Like 90 donruss for example?

IF (and I do mean IF) it is a 1/1 (kind of doubt it) it would bring a pretty good premium, I cant (maybe someone else can) put a $ value on it, especially since it would be the only one, it would only be worth what people would be willing to pay.

However, people can and will buy anything, take the 07 Jeter card for example. I think the highest one last I checked was 350$, this is a card that there were TONS of copies of, it was a common base w/simply GW and Mickey Mantle in it.

    So hows that for vague?

Same Card, DIFFERENT Error (2 in 1)

Donruss responded to my error email with:

"We have heard a few reports that some cards were printed this way. Please
check with one of the hobby publications, either www.beckett.com or
www.tuffstuff.com, for more reports on these cards. Thank you, Customer
    Service"

That's when I noticed the back of card #112 has Moss playing for the Vikings in the stats section...the copy right next to that on the card got it right, referencing 2005 as his first year with the Raiders.

Unbelievable. I wonder how many other 2006 Threads football card #'s have mistakes...

like someone else had said, they are only worth what someone is willing to pay you for it. Like I said, it can only benefit you regardless of what you do with it. It`s an error card and someone out there may pay you for it. No, you will not be able to retire but considering what you would be able to get for it if it wasn`t an error card(nothing in other words), it is unique and may get you more than what the correct card would get.
