    Romo Autographs...

Just thinking about how many autos he actually has out there. What.. like 3 RC Autos? That's all I can think of. Do you think he will release some new autos next year, and how expensive do you think they will be. I have always wanted a Romo autograph, because I like Romo but don't want to fork out $150 for a RC Auto of really, what I consider to be an unproven player. He may have just had a lucky season. I really hope not. And when his autos do come out next year, (at least I think they will) I bet they'll be expensive right off the bat because of how rare Romo Autographs are.. let me know what you think!

    Thanks,
    Michael

They will go down in price when the Romo-hype is over and a new young quarterback emerges.

I just feel really stupid. In the 05 season when Bledsoe was having a great year i saw romo autos selling for like 2 dollars on ebay and I thought i should have bought them just for kicks. But i iddn't want to 'waste' the money so I didn't. What a loss of a great investment.

That said, I picked up a couple national treasures autos of Sam Hurd and Miles Austin just incase.

Listed the autos below. I'm lucky enough to own three of them. Bought them for $5 each but I'm hoping I can get some $$$ for them soon since I know they won't sell for $140+ forever. Happens to many players. Eventually Vince Young and Reggie Bush cards will fall. I'm sure there will be 2007 Romo auto's when the sets come out.

2003 Leaf Rookies and Stars Longevity 205 Tony Romo AU $350.00 $500.00
2003 Leaf Rookies and Stars Rookie Autographs 205 Tony Romo $250.00 $350.00
    2003 Playoff Contenders 156 Tony Romo AU/999 RC $150.00 $300.00
2003 Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket 156 Tony Romo AU N/A N/A
2003 SP Authentic 217 Tony Romo AU RC $150.00 $300.00
2003 SP Authentic Gold 217 Tony Romo AU $400.00 $700.00

the print run on the autos are:
    Longevity /50
Leaf R&S /750 (but only first 150 are signed)
    Playoff Contenders /999
    Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket 1/1
    SP Authentic /1200
SP Authentic Gold /25 (I believe)

I got lucky and collected him a year or so before he became starting QB. I only wish I bought more!

I'm not embarrassed to say that. :)

My buddy got Romo to sign his mini helmet when he went to see the team during training camp. He said he got a chance to chat with him for a bit, since not very many people were asking for autos of him.

I think a majority of NFL fans didn't know who Romo was before the 2006 training camp started.
