    Nash is the MVP

It seems like the MVP race is between Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash. But watching tonights game, I think the MVP is clearly Steve Nash. Take Nash of the floor and the Suns aren't within 15 of the Mavs right now. But take Nowitzki off the floor and the Mavs are still competing. Josh Howard is a huge part of that team, and i feel he probably could fill Dirk's shoes.

True and not true. Dirk's team is winning. But Nash is playing a bigger, more irreplaceable part of this game.

But i see the MVP just as it is called, most valuable player, not most valuable team. I do agree that the Mavs are better than the Suns, the Mavs are just so complete as a team.

Nash deserves the MVP PERIOD Nash finished with 32 points and 16 assists. He made clutch shots including that three to send it into O.T. He made the clutch shots tonight, and Nowitzki didn't. That was the difference.

Btw, how about Amare for MVP? ;)

    Double OT, you kidding me?

Yeah, Nash is MVP. Dirk was being a whiner.

Dirk complained so much tonight! Nowitzki... If you are going to complain do it the smart way... Complain equally to each ref, instead of ridding on ONE ref the entire game! He picked up a technical, because he was constantly whining to one ref. I'm so happy right now that the Suns won that game. It was a great game!!!

Suns>Mavs! This is the Suns year!!! Amare is the key ingredient for Phoenix's success in the playoffs. He is going to win a MVP in the next 3 years.

I think Dirk is a great player, but he just isnt the MVP. Jason Terry was his teams MVP tonight. And although Amare had a great game, The Suns still wouldn't have been anywhere in the game had it not been for Nash.

Jason Terry and Stackhouse were both MVPS for the Mavs tonight, but maybe Terry a little more than Stackhouse.

Nash will win the MVP, the Suns will get ousted from the playoffs again, and Nash will have won three straight MVPs - something Michael Jordan never did, and two more total than Shaquille O'Neal ever received.

But we'll keep hearing how Nash is so integral to his team's success - even though Shaq was to the Lakers' and Heat's success, and he only won one MVP to go with his four titles.. so fair.
