You put in the highest amount you are willing to pay and if you are outbid then you lose. Doesn't matter if that bid comes in with 3 seconds to go or 6 days to go. You put in the highest you were willing to pay for the card and not a cent more and the person who won it, put in there highest bid and were willing to pay more for it.
You put your highest bid in and if you win congrats and if you don't then oh well. Really don't understand why people ever complain about sniping. Makes no sense at all.
That's just my opinion. Chris J.

I finally agree. Sniping is only an alternate method of bidding with a cap, just like ebay will provide.

Sniping has no point if you are willing to pay more than the sniper.

90% of the time I wait until the last 10 seconds to place my bid...not to be a jerk or tick anyone off, but I do it because I have been shilled a number of times and, unless I know the seller (or bought from them numerous times) I just don't trust them not to shill. I always only put in the max I am willing to pay for something. For instance, I was willing to pay $20 DLVD for a card I won tonight...I bid $16 and change and won it for $5.01...I wasn't trying to "outdo" the high bidder, I figure if he/she had a higher bid than I did more power to them!
Peace~

I think we all Hate it to some degree when we lose a card in the last three seconds but like stated above we had the chance to bid higher but chose not to. For awhile it seemed I couldnt win a thing on ebay. Went about 4 months losing every single auction I was bidding on but to me thats all part of it. Just makes me appreciate the steals that much more.
If I understood how to use a snipe program i'd do it too but I'm too lazy to try

I don`t use a sniping program. All of the thrill to bidding is when I physically do it myself. If I can`t be around for the end of the auction I just put the highest price I`m willing to pay for the item and let it go.
