Lied to?
I think I was lied to today by the lady at the post office. Every time I go to the post office I always have the same person helping me. Well today I had a different person help me in which I was told I could not have DC unless I sent my package priority mail. Is this true? I have sent my bubbler mailers several times first class with DC. Why couldn't I today? Was I lied to? Of course I did not mention anything about the other person doing it for me just in case she isn't suppose to.

The only rule about using DC is that your package has to be 3/4 of an inch thick. Some clerks will overlook this though...

I had a postal lady argue that my package wasn't thick enough and tried to charge me Priority shipping. I think somebody in the postal service has prompted them to try and push priority for thick packages.

Well one time i went to the post office. Because what happened was she is a delivery truck driver, and I saw her drive right past my house when it said my package was ready and being delivered. It was a guitar, so it wasn't something she could just leave in the mailbox and would have to get out of the car walk up ring the doorbell and let me take it type of package.
Well I let it slide, the next day she did the same thing. So I got in my car, drove a block and got her. I asked why she skipped my house, and she said she didn't. I then asked if she had a package for me there, and she did (the big ™™™ guitar package) and I said again "Why did you skip my house?" "she said, I didn't I went up to your door and rang it, and nobody answered"
I said "Are you sure about that? I have security cameras watching my doors and driveway, you drove right by and never stopped." "Are you calling me a liar sir?" "Yes because I know for a fact. In fact I can show it to you." "Go ahead, because I know i'm not lying."
We drive back to my house, she comes in, i rewind the tape, and show it to her as she drives by. Then she starts acting all hysterical and leaves. So the next day I go to the post office to ask for her, and have her hand-give me the package. So I go up to the window, and I see her (not the person talking to me, but behind) walk into a back room. I then ask, by her name, if she's working there. The clerk says "let me check" he comes back says "no she's not here right now." I ask "Oh are you sure that wasn't her that just walked bck there?" "Yeah she's off today." I said okay "Can i have her office number to just leave a message for her?" He says okay, gives it to me. I walk outside, take out my cellphone, call her. SHe picks it up "Hello? This is ___"
Anyway, just needed to vent about how screwed up the post office is.

i feel you guys. i made a huge bv trade on here for a lebron/kobe dual auto/jsy #ed/10 for 800sv. we both agreed to send sig. confirm to be safe along with insurance. a week goes by and no package. i check the d.c. # and it said it was delivered 3 days ago!!!!!! on top of that, it was signed for by me!!!!!!(which it was not). they say they cannot go through with the insurance claim as it said it was signed for by me even though they had no record of my signature anywhere(its a very unique sig that no one could copy). a few days later i was picking up some debris in my front yard and find a beat up, weathered priority mail box in the bushes. IT'S MY FLIPPIN CARD!!!!! i guess they just scanned it signed for and left it on my porch!!! nothing was ever done to the postal carrier who did it but atleast the card wasnt damaged in any way. BUNCH OF B.S. THOUGH!!!!

I get creative now, and try and make it as thick as possible with the least amount of material. I made a cardboard sheath around the card with a bit of extra bubble wrap, and made one extra large burrito supreme package.
Not only was the card better protected, but I impressed the PO people with the sheer girth of the normally flat bubble envelope. (These are the same PO people who happen to behave the same way as you describe).

ya just throw in some packaging peanuts or take some type of paper and fold it enough to where it creates a bulge in the bubble mailer.

the PO by my GFs place also has some of the rudest women I have ever dealt with, I once let them know that my taxes paid a portion of their salary, so they could be a bit nicer
