hey brett
my problem is that I have sold over 1000 cards on ebay and I had this person say they never received a kobe gu floor card, when I know I shipped, it is not like I don't remember that card, it was the only floor card I have ever owned, and because of not having del conf I had to refund the person's money and I am out of a card. I know that appx 2% of things don't make it through USPS to the person, but I found that mighty funny that it never made it, but there was nothing I could do about it, I had to eat it, my problem was that I gave all my sellers the option of purchasing insurance and del conf, and if they choose not to, I should be responsible for it after it left my hands, and I have another person that I know damn well they received their cards, why because I put delivery conf and paypal still made me refund them, another occassion, I had insurance on it the guy said he never got but the post office said it was delivered. so it sucks when you ship a ton of things, it is not everyone it is a select few, that is why I have been hesitant to sell cards ebay or other sites, because of that and that is what attracted me to etopps, casue it is just a transfer and they can't deny it they can try, but in reality they can't.

From Bret at NAXCOM
Gio: That is exactly the reason the NAXCOM system is set up the way it is.
Every buyer has to pay the seller Insurance for items over $10.00. They don't have any other choice. If you send the item out insured and the buyer says 'he doesn't get it' we then freeze the funds. If the post office gives you confirmation that they did receive the item, you would send us the confirmation we would release the funds to you.
We will typically cover items under $10.00 if both the buyer says he didn't get the card, but the seller says they sent it. However, we mark both accounts for our internal use. If the buyer tries to do it again we will not only kick him off the system but we will also report him to the Postal Fraud department.
As an honest seller you are always covered! 100% of the time. Also keep in mind that buyers always pay through NAXCOM. Therefore you never have to worry about a buyer saying I paid for the item, but you know you never received payment. If you sold all 1000 items, you wouldn't have to worry about 1000 different payments and keeping track of all the buyers. It is all done for you through NAXCOM.
I think you will like it Gio. I have to admit that we are still really new and we don't have the number of buyers that we know we need to make sellers really happy. But if you are patient, we will get their soon. Also keep in mind that there are no listing fees and you choose your asking price, so there is no risk to list your items. If nobody every buys an item from you it never costs you a dime.
Thanks Gio,

in you internal thing, bear in mind that the USPS understands that there is a 2% lost in the mail not arriving or arriving very late, I sold a few things on ebay back in Feb and that came back to me return undeliverable forwarding expired, it took a appx 2 months for USPS to return to me. so I am thinking that may be a time window for returns, plus I have a few family members that work for them and they say the USPS doesn't have to send back to the sender if that happens because postage has already been paid one way and it if is a big item then they may or maybe not send back.
just a thought for you guys to think about over there, so far I am warming up to selling with you guys, have you guys thought of an auction format maybe for people who like that too..
oh yeah, how do I quote a price if something in not in the book yet.
and what happens to the items when the price slashing ends with no selling does it go back to the regular price or what? or the reduce price from the slashing.

I just realized that you were Bret. At the top of all of your posts it says from Bret and I always thought you asked some at NAXCOM. LOL boy do I feel stupid.
Anyway thank you for giving us a lot of good information and answering our questions. Many companies do not care about the consumer but it appears that NAXCOM ACTUALLY CARES. That is such a relief.
Also gio I tried sending you a PM but it said your box was full. Once you clean it out send me another PM.Selling all my cards here updated as of July------------> Hidden Content

I got my sister to register for that free $10.
I ordered a few Kobes.
And the seller sent me an email to confirm the order was shipped the next day.
boy, these are good sellers...even better, dare I say, than the Ebay ones.
