I'm gonna buy a Jumbo box when I go back to Des Moines tomorrow for $60. I know I can get it cheaper elsewhere, but I don't want to wait around for it to ship, pay the shipping costs, etc. By the time they would send it, I'd be back at school.

What autos did you get? And did you buy Jumbos or regular sized?

I stared opening my Jumbo box last night. So far I've only gotten one auto, World Series Highlights Brooks Robinson.

Wow, this thread's a flash from the past...
I just checked dacardworld and they have the Jumbo at $80/box so I think they are still holding their own.

i would say they definently are holding up and will until all the pres cuts are found.... i hate the product personally becuse i am not the kind of person who wants to buy overly priced boxes with VERY low insert/gu/auto ratio with a chance worse than getting struck by lightning you will get a pres cut.... plus i hate the gold stamping because on abot everycard there is chipping... whatever happened to plain cardboard and 30 cents a pack

Yeah, I like the way the cards look but I am not a big fan of the product as a whole. It is so OVERPRICED! People are going crazy about the Prez cuts but you probably have a better risk/reward with buying a lotto ticket. Look at the prices for boxes of Topps series 1 from the last two years, they sell for like one-third or one-fourth the price.

I wish Topps would have just put the presidential cuts in the jumbo boxes and leave the regular hobby boxes at a decent price for the set collectors. I have a better chance of showing up in a Paris Hilton video then I do of pulling a pres 1/1 cut!
