The previous two posts I can only interpret as FRUSTRATION.
Violence and answers which include such a careles disregard to human life are PRECISELY WHY the situation has been a PROBLEM FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS.
AS A FATHER OF FOUR SONS I AM APPALLED AT YOUR CALLOUS AND NARROW MINDED POSTS!
ALL PEOPLE ALL ACROSS THE WORLD DESERVE THE CHANCE TO LIVE IN PEACE.
IF THERE IS ANY SHRED OF HOPE FOR THE AMERICAN DREAM OF DEMOCRACY TO TAKE HOLD IN THE REGION, PATIENT NONVIOLENT SOLUTIONS MUST COME TO THE TABLE AND BE COMMITTED TO. THAT MEANS THAT AS A NATION WHO EXPECTS PEOPLE TO LOOK UP TO US, WE MUST MODEL THIS AND LEAD!!

I'm sorry, but that is a extemly ignorant comment. How can you make a statement like that? If you were in the situation, would u want so ****ing dictator placing a gun in your hand and telling you to fight it out? Hell no. So you can't make a comment like that. It's flat out stupid. It just shows how little you care about other people, and for that I am ashamed of you.

If only everyone else thought this way. It is a shame that our first reaction is to have everyone fight over it. Violence leads to nothing, only more violence. So I ask all those who agree that putting them in some insane death match will work, What the hell is wrong with you?

I just read something a few minutes ago that was saying Saddams execution is to take place sometime between now and Sunday which is the start of some holiday there...In this article it stated that Saddam was allowed to be visited by his two brothers who are also supposed to be executed for their part in the crimes...
I feel they all deserve to be executed for what they have done but I agree with Mike with what he said....Thanks EdI only trade by Beckett price guide, not eBay comp or SV, TV..I also do not collect any Panini or Donruss Baseball products..

US supplies weapons (military equipment) to other countries. The only problem we have to go get it back twenty years later.
We get alot of oil from Kuwait, not Iraq. Thats how the current situation that we are in started. Iraq threatened to bomb Isreal and Isreal told the US not to help and for Iraq to bomb them. Iraq in return bombed our oil supplier (Kuwait) and we quickly came to the rescue like 16 years ago. We leave the Middle East (Kuwait) and some other Iraqi dictator will beat up on them and we will be back over there again ten years later. Or not.

Well, maybe we should balance the tools of war which we so willingly supply for profit with an equal monetary committment to a more educated and compassionate regime who can maintain soveriegnty. If we ARE committed to the region because of a need for oil we should seek a more longterm, nonviolent solution which would allow the citizens to see us as the saviors instead of being the fleeting white knights which we have proven to be, riding in only when the situation is on the verge of catstrophe.

It looks like he will be killed by Sunday.
Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, sentenced to death for his role in 148 killings in 1982, will have his sentence carried out by Sunday, NBC News reported Thursday. According to a U.S. military officer who spoke on condition of anonymity, Saddam will be hanged before the start of the Eid religious holiday, which begins at sundown Saturday.
The hanging could take place as early as Friday, NBC’s Richard Engel reported.
