Now before you make a comment like that, do your research first. Walter was no where near a first round pick. He was drafted in the 3rd round. So before you try and smash on my team, think before you write. And as I said before, yes of course they have had busts, but it's very hard to say that no team has.

In my opinion the Raiders need to go WR in the first round. Despite popular belief the Raiders don't really need a QB. Brooks is ok for a backup and Walter hasn't been given a chance yet considering we have the worst offensive line in the NFL. I say go WR because it's obvious that Porter is going to be gone, Moss wants out, Whitted is garbage, Curry is good but nothing more than a good slot reciever, and Morant has great potential but never gets a chance to play. If the Raiders are going to improve the O-line they need to do it through free agency so that they can at least pick up some established players. Lamont is sufficient once we get improvement on the O-line but a decent backup would be nice since I don't like Fargas. The defense played great this year so I don't see us wasting first round picks here. I think the best option for the Raiders would be to trade down and package up more picks as there are some great WR's like Jarrett and Ginn that will probably go later in the first or second rounds.

Talent level difference between a 1st round pick and a 7th round pick is not that big...Oakland wouldn't have a QB issue if they would have used a pick back in 2000 before the patriots snapped up Brian Griese's backup. I'm not trashing anyone's team...Certain teams just seem to draw certain types of players....Oakland gets the...characters of the league...Cincy i think requires you have multiple run ins with the law....Dallas...must be a prima dona to sign with em....Cleveland....hell they will take anyone right now....

If it was only possible....I wish Kosar was still around. He was the last good QB Cleveland had.

PS: I hope you know that the Dorsey comment was a joke.

Curry is good but nothing more than a good slot reciever...

Though I do agree with most of what you said, I do believe that Curry is far better than just a slot reciever. He, at this point, is our best reciver in so many categories. He is the best physically, and that is saying a lot with moss and porter on the team, he has the best hands(better than moss clearly) and he has the determination to succeed(two achillies injuries and he's still playing). For that I think Curry should be our number 1 reciever next year. Trade moss and porter and get some 2nd round draft pick and maybe an o-linemen. I also agree that our pick should be traded down, and if a good WR is there than take him. I think for the Raiders, as it always has been, it needs to be take the best player available(but limited to offense).
