You wish you had him in Philly.

At least you'd have a QB who could play an entire season for a change.

But, I agree the "is he going to come back" gets old.

Maybe Elway should have retired early too...he was old also!

Also, his consecutive game streak is phenomenal and I can see you have no respect for the "Ironman" of the NFL.

I think that if the Packers make some moves to improve their receiving corps that Favre should try another year....if he sees that they are not going in that direction, then maybe it is....

I hope that Brett never retires. Aaron Rodgers hasn`t played much for sure but what makes you think he`d be better than Favre? Brett`s a Hall of Fame quarterback with mediocre receivers. Take Donald Driver away and what do you have, nada. Greg Jennings looked good, when he played.

If a quarterback doesn`t have anyone to throw to how good is he suppose to look? I think he`s far from washed up as some of you think. He still has one of the best arms in the game. And how many quarterbacks have taken some of the punishment he has and kept playing?? Can you say NONE! I`d love to see Brett finish the last 2 years on his contract at least!!

One of the best arms, yes. But he is not, and never will be, one of the best QBs in the game anymore. Yes he has had a Hall of Fame career, but he certainly isn't playing that way anymore. After last year's dismal season, especially for Brett, I think it is safe to say that he is a little washed up. This does not mean that he can't still post good numbers, just that he won't on a consisitent Brett Favre type basis.

Would it have been a better season fro him with Javon Walker there? Donald Driver is good, but I think they defiantly missed Walker's presence this year!

Yes it did. Brett tries to take to much onto himself to win games and throws passes he shouldn`t try. He`s just trying to make things happen. If they still had Walker we wouldn`t be having this conversation. I hope the Packers go for some offensive help this year. And see how Jennings works out if he doesn`t get hurt. Brett`s far from washed up.
