Would you stop with the media thing.

Seriously, most Americans believe Bill Clinton had a surplus and brought our nation out of Debt and President Bush brought us into debt because of the Iraq war. That is because of the media. Almost no Americans do their own research and this proves my point. Clinton is a media darling because 90% of them voted for him. He put us 40% more in debt and that is a fact. He never gave this country a surplus!

The forgotten war, Afghanistan.

I am with a PRT (Provincial Reconsruction Team) in Afghanistan and do believe we are doing this the wrong way. Throwing money at problems is never the answer.

With 10th Mountain getting extended the moment they were ripping home and in some cases already home is wrong. Talk about a gaggle you know what. Had to call the MPs out for against the spouses when they were told.

I also think we should get out of Iraq but not in the just get out method. Talk about bloodshed.

Haven't been to Iraq yet but sure I will go before I retire (3 years and 339 days). I don't agree with the Armies policy of year long deployments if not longer deployments. I just want to be deployed with my Seabees. I can't even take my advancement exam because the CNO has decided that it will be better for me. I am an IA (Individual Augment, which is the most absurd plan ever put forth.) doing my time with the Army. Don't know what point I was trying to make here.

Agree. This is my Vietnam analogy. If we pull out and cut funding millions will die and Iran will be strengthened and probably take over Iraq.

President Bush is the Commander-in-chief and only has to take recommendations from the congress as they have already given him the power in a vote.
