Broncos-Lions Blockbuster Trade!
Dre Bly was sent to the Broncos for Tatum Bell and George Foster
The Detroit Lions have agreed to send cornerback Dre' Bly to the Denver Broncos in exchange for running back Tatum Bell and tackle George Foster. Trades cannot become official until Friday, the first day of the league year.
Bly, a two-time Pro Bowl performer who earned a Super Bowl ring as a member of the 1999 St. Louis Rams, did not fit well in the Tampa 2 defensive scheme employed by second-year head coach Rod Marinelli and new defensive coordinator Joe Barry. Thus the Lions granted Bly and his agent, Kennard McGuire, permission to seek a trade two weeks ago.
The New Orleans Saints, New York Giants and Washington Redskins also were in the running for the 29-year-old Bly.
Neither Bly nor McGuire was available for comment.

well...this cant be good for one of the 2 i collect, KJ or Tatum...ugh...might be seeing my first failed player collected in a LONG time.

just another dumb move by the Broncos i cant wait till they suck next year!

Not really because they needed a DB with the death of Darrent Williams. Mike Bell was very productive which made Tatum expendable. It's also being talked about that the Broncos are trying to trade up in the draft to get Adrian Peterson or Marshawn Lynch.

Wow! Champ Baily and Dre Bly. They will have the best two CBs combo in the league.

wow, Michael Smith just reported he believes the Broncos made the move because they will make a move to acquire Willis McGahee

I think it was a great move for the Broncos. As always, they can put "any" RB in the system and be successful. Whether it's McGahee or someone else. I also like having the best CB tandem in the NFL!!

I think that the Broncos defense is going to be phenominal next year. There, offense, that's another story. We'll see what cutler can do.
