So if Bly didn't want to be around they got a running back that showed he can put up some numbers and in the right situation be a starter when healthy (of course that true with any running back).

p.s. I don't see a problem with both as how many NFL teams are using one exclusive back nowadays as most go to the 2 back system to mix it up. This gives Detroit some nice options if they have a fix the passing game and the O line opens holes for the backs. Could be a be improvement over the ladylions of the last few years.
