Duhon- Hull was talking to everyone nonstop, and I got so sick of standing in line and waiting, it was over 3 hours already, and looked to be another hour and a half to get to Hull! It's nice that he talks to people, but he will talk for 10 minutes to one person, and refuses to be hurried along. Esposito was getting ticked about how far behind it was!
I got Hull before, so I wasn't too upset about it.

Anyone living around Chicago is lucky. We don't get anything like this (# of signings) in Cleveland. I would kill to have 1/10 of the number of signings that you guys have. Phelps would have been the first (and only) person that my wife would have waited for that long in line with me.

shoemajt-Yes, it is fantastic that so many players and former players appear in this area. It is a hobby that requires a lot of time, patience, and research. Frankly, I usually spend about 3 hours at an event, plus driving within a 1 hour radius of my home. Also, I really only do free ones, there are a ton that charge, and I generally will not do those, unless the money goes to charity. However, I do feel lucky about it!

Well, this is actually in Chicago, not the suburbs, but the Chicago Blackhawks have been bringing back many of their alumni, and one signs for free at each home game, after you get into the building, prior to the start of the game. This evening, I got former Blackhawk Eric Daze, 4 cards signed, and 1 8x10 signed, for free (after buying a ticket to the game), at the United Center, Chicago IL.
