Call of Duty 4 is for Xbox 360 as well.
    I dont understand why anyone would want a PS3 over a 360?

I would just buy a new 360 from the store, or you could try half.com, they usually have good prices.

Thats true, but Xbox live is so afforable, I think its $50 for a year and like $20 for 3 months. They charge money because I think its set up better and theres way more you can do.

don't buy an xbox360 without a warranty. their quality sucks. i am on my 3rd one. started with a premium, the dvd tray no longer opens.

went and bought a NEW core because i didn't want to pay $140 to get microsoft to fix a dvd tray, got it at best buy with a 2 year warranty. within 6 months, probably less it had the red ring of death. im now on my 3rd system.

i have the ps3 as well and i will tell you that the hardware reliablity of the ps3 blows the xbox out of the water.

i have both systems & i also have call of duty 4 on both systems. got the ps3 copy for my birthday, then bought another used xbox copy to play online with my friends from work.

i think the ps3 version is better. controls are more responsive, graphics are smoother, online is free and is comparable minus the bells and whistles of xbox live. when playing the game online it is virtually the same, so honestly i wouldnt be able to justify the price of xbox live if my friends werent online with it.

the xbox in general is very cheaply made, you have to pay extra for wireless internet connection, extra for hd-dvd player. overall it's very clunky. it freezes up, the in-game menus act clunky. it doesn't know when there is a game in the drive. oh, and not to mention that it's extremely loud (stock, no intercooler). i'm starting to like the xbox less and less because of these nagging issues.

take it for what it's worth, but i have both systems, and have most of the add ons for the xbox and in my opinion the ps3 hardware and playability is much better. the only thing xbox has going for it is there are more games for it and the controllers are more user friendly. hands can cramp up using the smaller ps3 controller.

I don't know why anyone would pay extra for THAT... HD DVD will be dead in 6 months (If not sooner!)...

I bought my 360 used back in September through CraigsList.com I had ZERO complaints until I got the Ring of Death. I simply called 1-800-4myxbox. I explained my situation and they switched the warranty info to my name. They sent a box that I could ship my 360 in and are fixing the problem FREE OF CHARGE!!! I also play COD 4 on live and it BLOWS Halo 3 out of the water!!!

As far as 360 vs PS3:
I was brought up on the playstation console. I told myself that I would NEVER get anything but Playstation. Until I found a game that I HAD to play (Top Spin). I believe it was available only for the X-Box. SO I picked up a x-box and fell in love quick! Im a sports game fan and I hear that the 360 is better for sports games than the PS3. Hope this helps!

i bought mine from a friend who owns a pawn store. For $250 i got an elite version
The console, hard drive, two controllers both wireless and a cord plus the game Rainbow Six Vegas and 2 dvd's!!!! Never had a problem with it except cleaning out the hard drive from the previous owner!!! Most pawn shops will hook it up and allow you to test it or have a short term return policy! Mine rocks and got a great deal!
