    Exclamation Naxcom Questions

ive had an account there for a while, even listed a few cards, but never put much effort into the site.....well, ive decided to try and put the site to use finally. got a few questions for those that are ESTABLISHED members there.

IF ANY OF THESE LINKS DONT WORK, LMK

    1) shipping prices - i know that they are all fixed prices.....however, im seeing some discrepency in their rates.....when i look at the sample 10 cent sale under their RULES AND POLICIES page, it lists S/H as being $1.50.....however, when i go to the FAQ's page, and check the SHIPPING & INSURANCE PAGE it states the shipping charges for single cards (1-2) is $2.00.....am i missing something here???

    2) do you mail all you naxcom sales with DC (as you would and should with ebay)?? i could see being able to do so with $2 alloted for shipping, but $1.50 hardly allows for the purchase of confirmation....always hearing how "naxcom is better than ebay cause of fixed shipping and less fees"....but doing some quick math, im just not seeing that.....can someone shed some light on this???

    3) ive noticed that the auctions are run on a different "site"?? are you able to launch your fixed price listings directly to auction, or do you have to completely relist?

    4) are there any ways to provide potential buyers with some reference information (whether in a profile or in the listings themselves).....having no feedback there, would be nice to atleast be able to provide some info to those that are interested

    5) how do you feel about naxcom auctions with respect to ebay auctions?? ever compare completed ebay sales with naxcom sales?? if so, what did find?? what benefits do you see, if any, with naxcom?? ive got 100% positive feeback on ebay (buying and selling), and despite a few small issues, i haven't had much to complain about with ebay.....so convince me that naxcom really has some benefits that ebay doesn't (cause im really not seeing them)

im sure ill run into some other issues, but these are the most important ATM.....any help appreciated

I'll try and answer your questions:

    1) shipping prices - i know that they are all fixed prices.....however, im seeing some discrepency in their rates.....when i look at the sample 10 cent sale under their RULES AND POLICIES page, it lists S/H as being $1.50.....however, when i go to the FAQ's page, and check the SHIPPING & INSURANCE PAGE it states the shipping charges for single cards (1-2) is $2.00.....am i missing something here???

The first link was not updated when they changed their shipping prices from $1.50 to $2.00 for 1-2 cards being shipped.

I am starting to use DC by printing my labels via Paypal since it is offered for only $.18 more along with whatever shipping to make sure the items are received. I know it works for ebay items (since ebay owns Paypal), but I used this the other day for a transaction on here, and it works for non-ebay items as well, even putting DC for that item.

I like Naxcom because you do get your money back if the transaction doesn't go through for some reason. With ebay, I have heard too many horror stories even when using Paypal to pay for items. I haven't had but maybe 1 or 2 problems with Naxcom since I joined in July 2003. Their customer service is way much better than ebay also.

thanks keith....i guess i gotta look into that paypal shipping!! i prefer to use cash to ship things, and keep my paypal balance strictly for buying, but if it is that much cheaper, sounds like a good option (which makes confirmation affordable within naxcom's shipping rates)

    appreciate the response buddy....thanks again

cool....ive had an acct for a bit, but not much activity....no bites on any fixed price listings, but the auctions seem like a viable option to ebay.....just gotta wait till i get some money to buy some naxcom items and build some feedback, cause its TOUGH to sell stuff without feedback, lol.....my first 30-40 ebay transactions were as a buyer, probably need to do the same on naxcom....lets face it, i wouldn't buy from a seller with 0 feedback on ebay, or naxcom!! good luck if you persue it!! thanks for the post

theres gotta be a way to use your ebay rep on Naxcom though..even though you may not have a naxcom feedback, my ebay is 4400, that has to count for something...

Ebay threw a big curveball with this one and naxcom auctions may be the answer..im just not a fan of having to move everything over

    NAXCOM eBay Feedback Transfer

Due to the repeated requests from eBay users that want to start on NAXCOM without having to start from scratch, NAXCOM today launched a new feature that allows users to transfer their feedback that they have on eBay to NAXCOM.

To take advantage of this new service, you can contact the NAXCOM VIP Department at [email protected] (310.568.8825).

Thank you for all the requests,

    NAXCOM
