Oh well, I told you the reason for the move...we didn't cancel the game we just moved it back for a couple of years, if LSU's atheletic department had a problem with it they could have declined our offer and made VT play LSU next year instead of 07. Me personally I was really looking forward to coming to Baton Rouge to watch my Hokies, but there's nothing I can do about it except wait a couple of years and now I get to watch us play USC so it's all good.
I really don't see the reason for the hostility that I've noticed with LSU fans, VT did not back out of the game...and like I said it would probably fair better for LSU to hold off a couple of years because at the rate they are recruiting they'll be solid for years to come.

I wish we could beat USC but they are stacked, they have a killer incoming class of freshman and a boat load of all americans left over from last year. I'll be at the game, whether he get manhandled or not ;)

Very true it doesn't take long to rack up some money on road games, but it's very interesting to visit different stadiums and get a feel for how they do things...I know in the SEC they live and breath football and watching games is a neat experience in a SEC stadium which is why I'll be going to Baton Rouge when we get to play you guys (was looking very forward to playing this year but oh well I have no control over the AD's decisions) I just hope with the new ACC with having teams like FSU, Miami, Va Tech, NC State, Maryland, UVa, UNC etc that we'll be able to have the same style of conference as the SEC has built over the years, it really helps in recruiting top players, see LSU, Florida and Tennessee classes for reference.
Anywho Va Tech is playing USC here:

It's almost a home game, since alot of Hokie alum are in the Northern Virginia area, I'd say Hokie fans will way outnumber the USC fans so it's an away game but with our fans filling up the majority of the stadium so Tech will have the home field advantage for sure. It'll definatley be neat to finally watch a game in a NFL stadium :)
