I have donated religiously for the last 15 years. There is absolutely no good reason not to, in my opinion, unless you are a selfish piece of garbage. There are those out there, unfortunately, who fall into that category. That just drives me to continue donating even moreso. Again, I continue to pray for you and yours (and actually all the selfish ba$tard$ out there as well. Maybe tragedy will strike them and they'll have a change of heart. Sooner or later, if you aren't a hermit, EVERYTHING strikes close to home eventually. Good works, and being a socially responsible person with a good moral compass generally lessens the blow. You tend not to end up with the "Why Me" mentality if you live well).

I tried giving blood, but I am too small (doctor says so, I try using that excuse to get out of getting blood drawn because I hate needles)
I will be praying.

Aw. I hope everything goes well, and she's ok!

I have wanted to donate blood, but I don't weigh enough. But I think if people are able to, they should. It's something that someone should do at least twice a year, if not more. It really does help.
Good luck with everything! :)

Again, thanks for all the well wishes again! She has been for the most part alright, but was in the hospital last month for an unrelated issue. She has recieved her 3rd and on Monday her 4th transfusion. So I am bumping this post again as a simple reminder.
