Are You In Offseason Mode?
The Super Bowl is over, the offseason is here and now. Some teams have already begun offseason moves. My eagles franchised TE L.J. Smith today, do I like it? No…but they show they are quick to move. What are somethings you expect this offseason? Who will become free agents? Who will get resigned? Will there be [...]

I've heard rumors of the Pats wanting Jason Taylor...plus Briggs is a free agent right? I'd love to see one/both of those guys go to New England.

My prediction: Chad Johnson runs for Mayor of Cincinnati. He wins, but upon his victory, he fires the GM, hires himself, trades himself, then resigns from politics.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Brett Favre decides to come back another year!

I want to see were Asante Samuel goes. So many people need a corner, like KC or Arizona. Can't see him staying a Pat since they're gonna Moss first.

The Patriots are not going to have the offseason they did last year ... here is the latest Cap #'s for them
25 New England Patriots $10.93 M There are currently 41 players under contract.
on the other hand ... The San Diego Charges are in a good spot to buy a super team and make a nice run at a deep season ...
1 San Diego Chargers $43.03 M There are currently 44 players under contract.
I just hope my Bronc's can pick up a couple Defenseive playmakers and use the Draft to get some young talent that we can build. I don't want to see Walker go but it's been said he is likely to be released very soon. I wouldn't mind Denver going after maybe Stallworth on Offense and maybe using our first rounder on Kenny Phillips (FS) out of Miami or if available Rashard Mendenhall (RB) out of Illinois

Yeah, we definately need to work on the Defensive side. The Dline seems so flakey as of late, and same with the linebackers w/Al Wilson leaving.

Hopefully, the Chargers keep Michael Turner. I think the off season showed that he is needed should LT get hurt again.

Mike, do you think there's room there for Turner, LT AND Sproles? Sproles proved to be explosive and a playmaker, not only on the offensive side but special teams too.

No there is not room for all three of them and I don't think they will pay Turner the money he is going to get offered in FA. I'd say it's going to be a LT/Sproles backfield in San Diego next year.
