Well I never really had a player I collected but my wife liked rangers hockey when we lived in new york and she started collecting Alexei Kovalev. I must say she had a pretty impressive collection not to mention one of his russian team hockey jerseys plus pictures with him and lots of autographs.Since we moved back to mississippi she hasn't collected anything, but a couple of months ago i traded for a kovalev autograph card trying to get her back into it but she seems content in watching my collection of cards grow take care Steve.

First started collecting in the late 80s (baseball cards) but I never had a player until I made the switch to football and basketball.

Errict Rhett and Cliff Floyd were my first player collections. I started them both at the same time but couldn't keep up with all the issues that came out, got frustrated and got rid of them. I still have a few Rhetts, including one of each autograph and some printing plates and stuff and kept one Cliff Floyd autograph/glove card.

I started collecting various baseball and basketball players in the late 80's early 90's and collected cards of the Steelers. I have kept Andruw Jones since he came up in late 96.

Having only got into collecting at the start of the last NFL season, mine is Joe Thomas. I followed the Browns alot this past season and thought he did a great job on the O-line!!! I pulled a few of his DLP rookie card's and am now trying to put together all his DLP rookie card's!! So a brand loyal player collection really!!!
