Ben gets sacked more because he holds onto the ball too long...Look at the linemen he has had...Alan Faneca, Max Starks, Marvel Smith, Kendall Simmons, any a couple more I cant think of...who does Carson have???
Ben looks better because he has been on a better team...
Jerome Bettis and Willie Parker to carry the load...all Ben has to do to look good is not screw up....any loser can do that...
Steelers defense wins them games...wow you found three games out of the year where he did good...big deal...

Peterson is good but it was one year. Until he is doing it for a few years, it wouldn't be right to put him on top ahead of LT of LJ. Plus, are we guaging best pure HB or most talented? AP is the lona ranger in MN right now with no proven star power built around him. He could potentially end up like LJ who has to carry the load with an average at best QB and average WRs. Pure runner, definately near the top but most atlented, it's not even close. He doesn't have the intangables like LT, Westbrook, or LJ.Supercollecting: LT, Antonio Gates, Hakeem Olajuwon and Jose Canseco

No, I never considered that. If BigBen threw less INT's because he was sacked so much then wouldn't he have thrown less TD's too?
Why is BigBen not a Top 10 QB?
- He has the second highest QB rating in '07, only Tom Brady had a higher rating.
- On a run oriented team he still managed to be 14th in the league in passing yards.
- 3rd in the league in passing TD's.
- 18 QB's threw more INT's including Romo, Favre, Peyton, Culter, Rivers, Brees and Hasselbeck.
- He had 5 games that he threw 3 or more TD's.
- Never threw 3 INT's in a single game and didn't throw a INT at all in 7 games.
- Had a QB rating of 80 or higher in 12 of 15 games started.
- Completed 70% or more of his passes in 5 of 15 games.
- Completed +80% of his passes in 3 games.
What about all of that says "not in the Top 10"?

Ben holds on to the ball too long yet he threw for 32 TD's? Fine, if he keeps throwing for 30+ TD's then I am all for him holding on to it for too long.
You keep saying Ben has a better team and I keep pointing out that Palmer has much better WR's. Anyone can see Palmer has better WR's, why argue that Ben is better off? He simply does more with less, the mark of a truely great QB.
All Ben has to do is not screw up huh? You obviously have no idea how many years the Steelers had the same defensive style and offensive style and couldn't win games with QB's who were just not "screwing up". Tommy Maddox & Neil O'Donnell come to mind. They didn't throw a lot of INT's but they still never won a SuperBowl.
3 games? Read my post just above to selby56.
- 70% completion in 33% of his games
- QB rating of 80 or higher in 80% of his games
- 5 games with 3 or more TDs
- 7 games in which he didn't throw an INT at all
The problem is you are a BigBen hater. Nobody likes a guy that comes in and does something at a young age that others have grown old trying to do. He won a SuperBowl in his second season and everyone is jealous of that. It's OK, I don't mind. In 7 or 8 years we will re-visit this subject and see how many more SuperBowl rings he has on his hand.

This guy is obviously pretty biased in his opinions so I'm not even going to post what I think about his "top 10" polls but I can see that they are pretty crazy without a doubt. Ronnie Brown a top 5 RB??? David Garrard a top 10 QB????
