i agree that it is a little low, but i don't really think it harms anyone if someone offers low... they will just have a hard time finding people to buy from :)

its proably just me then that i would feel thats incredibly insulting. if i got offered that much id want prove of what the auto goes for on ebay. this guy said they got 75-90 so he'll give 55?. if i were that guy id want to see past auctions

Me, personally? I would probably say 'geesh!' to myself, but just say 'no, thanks for the offer' to the person who offered

You should get mean and nasty to those people who you feel are low-balling you. It's a sure-fire way to never have them bother you again with their stupid offers. It's worked great for me.

Try and look at it this way. There's people out there who bid $55 on Durant autos every time they come up on Ebay and never win them. A simple no to the offer here is like them being outbid there, right? It's a starting point out there on the table to show others that someone has interest, no matter how ridiculous the offer. Enough people topping previous offers gets it right up to the $100 asking price. Anyhow, how do you know the Durant wasn't a replacement on a redemption, a guaranteed hit pack bought on e-bay, or even bought off some kid's table at a card show for $20? I've sold $300 BV cards for $40. I bought a $5 pack, got super lucky and pulled a Shaq auto and sold it right away for the price of something I actually wanted. No big deal. Very seldom is anything offered at any price, where someone doesn't try and chip off a few bucks or more just to feel like they didn't pay sticker price (if you saw Hank Hill in that King of the Hill episode!)
