it should be 1.13, but some post offices/mail clerks do not charge you the parcel rate (bubble mailers recently became a parcel)... so if you get a different rate it is because the clerk was being a little lenient.
i think this is important to keep in mind for people who use stamps. i have gotten a lot of bubble mailers lately with "Postage due" stamped on them.

That is a good point Molly, not to mention if you take it to the post office and they don't charge you the parcel rate, once it gets to the PO where the other person lives, they might slap you with the "postage due". Alot of times they don't, but I have heard some stories!

Also be careful with plain white envelopes my postal lady charged me the parcel rate of 1.30 because she said the machine would destroy the envelope,If i was gonna have to pay 1.30 i'd have just used a bubble mailer. take care Steve

Hey garnett 21 I found it odd also, even if it was the parcel rate it shouldn't have been that much.when she asked what was in the envelope i told her cards in plastic holders maybe i should have said a birthday card or someting, who knows nowadays with the post office they change rates so many times i don't think they even know the prices take care Steve
