POW John McCain
Is this a guy you'd like being your President? I'd definitely say so! http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/05...le-conditions/

Good read but being a war hero(or POW) doesn't make you the best candidate for President ask John Kerry.. I hope the Dem. Don't stoop to republican lows and try to make Mccain out to be a wimp and traitor like the Rep. Did Kerry.. I do think you should NOT be allowed to send kids to war unless you served yourself (or be willing to make your kids go)..
If he was the mccain of old I would vote for him this year but not now with all his pandering..Plus he's already getting dirty calling Obama the terrorists friend and candidate of choice.. The media has been kind to him (like they were Bush in 2000) but I'm sure that will stop when their he is against Obama (since he's the media darling)..
I'm Reading Jesse Ventura Don't start the revolution without me, wish he would have run (I would recommend the book, it tells why he has been out of the public eye for last several years and his true political views not what you hear on tv)...

The whole POW thing doesn't interest America anymore. The last candidate they want elected is a war-mongerer. Naturally, I respect the fact that he served, but he is already getting on my nerves (comments towards, Obama, lengthy war). Mike, let me know how both books go--I'd be interested in reading them. Me? I'm reading Jane Eyre, LOL.

Which McCain book, Mike? I read Faith of our Fathers and really enjoyed it. I'm sure he has more out now though.
Jane Eyre would make a terrible president :)

No really, that would explain the license plate of my neighbor
(sarcasm)
Just pointing out that he is being called a war hero BECAUSE he was a POW..
I am not reading his book (or obama or clinton) but did watch the CNN hour special on him it was pretty interesting to be honest I'm suprise the guy lived to see 72 with some of the stuff that happened to him..

Yes, Obama is the Media darling. McCain has not had the press be kind to him in the way that Barrack has.

they are also not attacking him and letting him slide, when
2x he confuses shiite and suni
His "spiritual advisor' makes anti jewish comments and goes unheard
Religious leaders whose support he accepts and welcomes(that he used to call hatefull blamed 9/11 on the ACLU, Feminists, Gays and said we deserved it) but all you hear about is Wright..
He calls Obaman the terrorists favorite candidate
He flip floped on Tax cuts, torture, and is more like bush than advertised he stopped being a maverick years ago...
I see a lot of people staying home in an Obama/Mccain election it wouldn't suprise me if 50% or so here in PA stay home that voted in primary and Mccain takes Florida, Pennsylvania, West Virginia,Ohio and wins election
It will be a good election for me because I can stop watching the news(If I hear the Rep. Bring up Ronald R. any more I will be sick) and be like most americans and watch American Idol or Farmer need a Wife
