In PA/NY the ones I have been to you have to be 21 if they serve drinks and 18 if they don't (Salamanca NY had both for a while but don't know if they still do)..

If I could go anywhere it would have to be Alaska, I HATE heat so wouldn't go to Fl, or CA and probably couldn't control myself in Vegas:).. I would go to see some of the last untouched wilderness while it's still there.. (I hate people also so I imagine it is beautiful there and more important peace and quiet..)

I'm definitely with ya on that one. I'm dying to go to Denali and some of the back country areas. I recently read a book about a guy that moved to a back country lake for a year and a half and built his own cabin by hand....and by "by hand" I mean he cut the trees, ripped and planed them, assembled them, built the doors, shelves, bed, etc, etc, down to even the hinges all with only hand tools, no machinery. The only things he had flown in were things it was impossible to make himself, such as tar paper for the roof and a couple of large pieces of plastic for the windows. Amazing read and now I want to go to Alaska more than ever!

Vegas is about the only hot-weather environment that I do well in...because all the casinos are very well air conditioned!

I havent been many places but do have a few suggestions..

    1. Daytona. Go down for the race in a couple months. I have never been but I'd imagine its awesome. Plus, you'll be right there with the beach. Take in the whole race experience! :) Or if not Daytona, go to Charlotte and travel around the race shops. That would be the BEST vaction ever.

    2. Hawks Nest West Virginia. My grandma has taken us twice and its tons of fun. The boat rides are the best! Its really pretty there too.
