How does everyone feel about our mock draft?

Who was the "steal" of the draft?

Who has the greatest potential to become an NBA superstar?

Steal - D.J. Augustin, PG, Texas. Kid has a lot of talent. This draft is deep in guards, and Augustin falling out of the top 10 is the result.

Potential - Michael Beasley, PF, Kansas State. Taking the safe route and going with our #2 pick. He's got an inside game and an outside game. Derrick Rose, Jerryd Bayless would be the runner ups here.

This draft is very deep. Lots of talent available in all positions. Also, it looks like there won't be very many international players drafted in the first round. Doesn't surprise me as the pay is increasing overseas.

Steal: in this draft, I have to go 23. Utah - the_future - Darrell Arthur, PF, Kansas

This guy is a lottery talent, and will probably be chosen there, he just happened to slip way too far in this one.

In a draft where players will fall close to expectations, I think Bill Walker has a lot of potential for a late first round or early second round pick. He was a top-5 talent before he tore his ACL, and all words from pre-draft camps say he's almost fully recovered. I think he'll move up quickly.

As for most potential..... I'm stuck between Rose and Beasley. I think Rose is the safer one of the two, because you know what he is and what he will be (a top end PG maybe just a notch before Paul), but Beasley has freakishly good ability. If he puts it all together, he has a higher ceiling.

A lot has changed in three weeks! We'll see how close our draft resembles the real draft.
