For some reason when I hear the word overrated, I always think of Grant Hill.

Melo is overrated for sure. So is Jameer Nelson, to a lesser extent. I think the Magic made a mistake extending his contract.

16 years in the league and still doesn't know how to make freethrows....yes, shaq is overrated.
I'm sure if Dwight Howard, Al Jefferson, Zydrunas, Perkins or any other good centers in the league weighed 3,000lbs, then they'd be as good as shaq too, all he does is catch, turn, shoot. And most of the times, he can't even do that.

Grant Hill was a rising star and had an unfortunate string of injuries, worked hard to get back and IMO isn't overrated and I respect him
Steve Francis would have to be overrated. Number 2 pick overall, had superstar written all over him, but has turned out to be more of a cancer than anything in his NBA career. Carmelo would have to be up there as well, as his game is too one dimensional and needs to be a better defender to ever win anything.
Marbury's a great one too. They tabbed the guy "Starbury". So far every team he's played for, I think he's made them worse.

When did Lebron say he is trying to be like Jordan? Find me that quote. I have heard Lebron say he would like to accomplish as much as Jordan, but every player in the league does.
