You shoud do like many others are near the mexican border, and buy your gas in mexico. I have seen many people who live near the mexican border do this becuase gas is around a dollar cheaper a gallon in mexico

yea but with my car i waste 1/4 tank to get to San Diego and then you have to wait on border crossings and it would be a huge hassel for me. Now people in San Diego, thats a smart move, but you always have to watch out for the fediralies in T.J.!!!!

Well not knowing what part of cali your driving from it may not be worth it, but i have been seeing lots of articles on truckers and businesses that use lots of gas and they are saving hundreds to cross the border. So for some the hassle is even worth the 20-40 bucks they save

gas is getting just plain wrong. what ever happened to bush's plan last time gas spiked? i thought that if gas got high enough that he could declair a state of emergency...well people are going broke in an ecnomic down turn and cant afford to drive to work! there has to be something that can be done...

They Bush family is making money out f this, like they are making money out of the war. I think we will have to wait for the next president and see what he can do.

Nothing will change with the next president either (not immediately anyway). We need to start drilling in Alaska and the Gulf ... period!!! After we start doing that about 5 years down the road prices will come down a little, you can definitely NEVER expect to see the price of gas like it was in 2004 or prior but any little relief at this point would help.

I asked my boss the other day if the company was looking at maybe doing a cost of living increase for our area based on the fact that we are living on a 2002 salary and we all know that prices have nearly tripled if not quadrupled in the last 6 years .... he laughed at me!! He told me that the company is looking to RIF (reduction in force) not increase pay. Meanwhile I think our company through the 1st quarter reported income from continuing operations at roughly $974 million. Pretty sad if you ask me!! Most employees would be happy with a 3-5% increase based on the current economic status and the company craps on us!!!
