Baseball hitting ?
I just bought 1,000 BB pellots, and I have a pool stick that screws into two pieces. I use the bottom part of the pool stick to swing with, the skinny part as the barrel. I heard this technique was good practice for hitting..
do u swing with one hand or both hands when tossing up and hitting one BB??
is this a good practice for hitting??
If anybody that has baseball experience or anything that can let me know what to do, i'd appreciate it.
thanks.

Don't shoot the bb's into the air before trying to hit them... or it will literally end up hand-EYE (as in singular) coordination!

Ha I don't shoot them. My dad won't let a gun in this house!!! :)
Well, after an hour of hitting, I got blisters...
I had my brother soft toss them into the air and I couldn't hit none of them.
After 20 minutes of soft tossing to me, I was hitting about 4 or 5 out of 10 tosses in the air. making contact with them..
They are really small bb's using half a pool stick :)

Well for my baseball teams, we usually do stuff like this indoor. We use those ping pong balls with holes in them and hit them with a small weighted bat. We swing with one hand (alternating from left to right) for up to 10 minutes straight. We always have someone toss them to us, less stress and tiring on the hitter.

I always used a full sized bat to build my arm strength. The drill I always did was the "top hand" drill where you toss the ball in the air with your top swinging hand and then try to hit it. You don't have to swing full strength just to hit into a net or fence. This drill is to get your timing and full body mechanics in sync. Tossing with your top hand is much more difficult than with your bottom.

Yeah, they look like mini wiffle balls. We have those.
