It usually takes a couple of months for Beckett to have BVs out, have to have enough time to get the necessary research. W/Press Pass SE, you can usually look at Press Pass BVs to get an idea of what SE will be worth. And you may want to check the Caldwell, it may be regular Press Pass. The Gridiron Graphs are only SE, but the base autos inserted in SE packs are regular Press Pass.

As for what to do before BVs come out, I look at eBay sometimes, but mostly compare to similar cards. When something first comes out, it starts out pretty high on eBay. After a few weeks or so, it will start to come down. So if you go by eBay, you're getting a kinda skewed look at what it's worth. I've seen people hold onto something because they look at eBay and see it's selling pretty high, but no one wants to trade that much for it. But then when BVs come out it turns out it's not worth as much as they thought and they can't get as good of a trade for it now. I usually look at similar cards of that same player or of similar players of that card last year (ie for 2008 Donruss Elite WRs, look at 2007 Donruss Elite WRs who were drafted at around the same place).

    Thanks man!

The Caldwell came out of a pack of Press Pass SE. And it's one of the Gridiron Graphs, so I'm assuming that is a SE card and not a regular Press Pass auto. The two Gridiron Graphs on EBAY right now in red ink, both have the players numbers with the auto. I'm pretty sure the Caldwell I have doesn't have his number. Again, assuming that doesn't mean much!?!?

My Caldwell looks like this Doucet :http://cgi.ebay.com/2008-PRESS-PASS-...2em118Q2el1247

Yeah the Gridiron Graphs are Press Pass SE only. The players number usually doesn't do much for the value, a lot of players put it in their sig.

Thanks again OnePimpTiger. So it's safe to say that the Caldwell I own is a SP then?

Yeah it's definitely a SP and here's what I found for the Press Pass print runs for Caldwell:

    Andre Caldwell
    Bronze Blue Ink Insc.
    25 ‘Bubba Caldwell’
    Bronze Red Ink
    49
Gridiron Graphs Gold Blue Ink Insc.
    24 ‘Bubba Caldwell’
    Gridiron Graphs Gold Red Ink
    50

So yours is 1 of 50...not bad. And no problem, happy to help.
