I also like the idea of Kidd starting.
CP3 and Deron are already on the verge of becoming great players but Kidd knows how to control the tempo of the team.
In a team that needs PG to score, Kidd should not be on there but on Team USA there are already great scorers like Melo, Lebron, Bosh, Dwight etc.
Kobe also knows this and that's why he wanted to concentrate on D.

I think that with Kidd you get an elder estatesmen that knows how to control the tempo of the game and make important dishes in clutch situations to the right people. People give him a bad rep because he's been arround the game for awhile on a wacked team. You have to give credit where credit is due.

Roster is shaping up nicely!

Wade, Paul, Howard, Prince, and Redd. They join Jason Kidd and Carmelo Anthony.
Billups is out. Stoudemire declined the invite. Chandler likely will not get selected. Kobe wants to win gold. Where's Lebron?

Michael Redd may not have gone to new orleans, but his role in bejing is much more important!

Lots of athleticism...I worry about perimeter defense and rebounding. Starting lineup has no PF if you put Howard in the C position. I'd prefer to see Bosh starting in place of Carmelo and CP3 in for Kidd.
