I have historically leaned a bit right-of-center, but in recent years, I had become a bit jaded with all of the along party lines "reporting" by Fox News that just seemed to be getting worse day by day. Then I discovered CNN Headline News (altogether different from its CNN parent network).

It has been a huge breath of fresh air to me, as they seem to simply REPORT the NEWS...both political and otherwise...left, right, AND center! That's right...there are actually OTHER candidates on the ballot folks! And among them, Libertarian Bob Barr, whom was actually brought in and interviewed for a full hour by Glen Beck (whom by the way would have my vote for President, should he ever decide to run ), and I must say, I was VERY impressed with most of what I heard! I for one am sick and tired of the classic "two-party system" that seems to do little more than continue to promote the undoing of one party's works by the other as the "balance" of power shifts from one side of the isle to the other.

Sorry if I got a bit off topic.

MI5- I totally agree with you with Headline news. They seem to be a bit more unbias than the rest. (but I think Glen Beck is a pompous @$$!!!) I for one am going to be switching my party affilaition to Independent. The bi-partisainship in this country is going to be the down fall of our political system. Government officials will not put there diffrences aside on somethings. even if it was 1 vote in 100 then thats still to many decided by party affilaitions.

its not just saying his name thats the problem. Whatch McCain talk about Obama in a place like VA or Alabama or even NY and Califorinia. He and everyone else leaning to the right, the stress his middle name. and when do you ever hear othre polititions call each other by ther full name? Scare tactic. thats all it is.

I have never seen or hear McCain use Senator Obama's middle name in any speach.

    Please show me.

Agreed. Headline News is better than CNN because it doesn't have as much of the commentary, but I wouldn't call it unbiased.

1-Glen? Pompous? Sure you don't have him confused with O'Reilly and/or Olbermann?

2-I think you meant to say "partisanship" (not playing well with others), rather than "bi-partisanship" (working together) , but I know what you're saying, and I do agree...along with lobbyists.

So what if he did use the guy's middle name? Why can't we say his middle name (yes, I know it's Hussein)? If someone's middle name instigates fear, then there is something wrong with the name. A name is a blatant fact.

It's like saying that Obama is tall is a bad thing to say because people get scared of tall people.

No it does not mean something is wrong with the name it means there is something wrong with the individual getting scared.
