In my opinion, if you enjoy doing it, there is no age limit on it. Don't let others dictate what you do in life.

I get weird looks sometimes, and I'm 16. Most of my friends tell me that collecting cards is only for 8 year olds. But, I don't think there is an age limit. I used to Collect Hot Wheels when I was 13 or 14, I would go to the K-Mart Hot Wheels days they had where you get to open up your own case of the brand new Hot Wheels that were just released and go through and pick out which ones you wanted, most of the other people that went to that were 50 and 60 year old motorheads. If you enjoy it, keep on doing it. Hobbies are for fun, for all ages.

People who don't collect cards probably think 16 is too old...people that collect cards think 86 isn't too old. It's just like many other things such as playing video games, listening to loud music, watching cartoons...if you don't get it, anything beyond teens seems too old. But if you do get it, then you know that's not the case. It's just another way to stay young at heart and to remain a kid on the inside...and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Instead of feeling ashamed if someone gives you a weird look for buying cards, feel sorry for them because they don't know the joy of being a kid at heart!

Whenever you have someone older that is a hobbyist you will get weird looks. Crazy world we live in where you get weird looks for having hobbys.

Im 44 and I dont give a crap what somebody thinks if I buy cards. If you worry about stuff like that it makes you insecure. Plus its better than buying dope on the street corner. I give people strange looks for things like that.
