EBay is not at all proactive in cracking down on shill bidders. But again, if you don't want to help, no reason to post really.

For those not familiar with 2001 Bowman Chrome LT Autos, I track all of them (as well as Contenders).
They typically sell between $950-$1250. I've never seen one sell for over $1500.
The high bidder of this auction has over 70% of his bids go to this one seller, but when you look at the seller's feedback, there are NO FEEDBACK from the high bidder.
Some of you are getting confused thinking that everyone involved is shill bidding. That's not my point at all. I'm saying that the high bidder r***c I suspect to be shilling.
THERE'S NO NEED TO ARGUE HERE. IF YOU AGREE AND HAVE SOME SUSPICION THAT THE HIGH BIDDER IS SHILL BIDDING, PLEASE REPORT. IF NOT, PLEASE DON'T WASTE EVERYONE'S TIME IN ARGUING.
Thanks to anyone that does want to help!

901 has had about 15 of the bids and check out this guy only 1% bid on with this seller so I would assume that he isnt a shiller

Don't argue? you forgot "here are my rules"
Just because you can't manipulate a bunch of teenagers to help, you get bitter.
I forgot you just got named SCF's thread police. Please list your thread rules again. Also, no response to the facts. You make claims of what percent people bid. I prove that wrong with other High End forum members who bid on my items. I point out that 3 other guys other then your suspected shill account are bidding. One even just bid another 200 bucks. Lets see if we used your theory he would be shilling himself to up his price for a retail shop. Like a guy that at his shop would spend 3k and not know the market value. Where is this guys shop Juneau,AK
I agree with you and the others. There is another bidder who bid like 2k too. The point is there are 2 more people that are willing to pay waaay more for 1500 dollars.
That is what auctions are all about. I have bought rifles at auctions that I paid 800 for and the same ifle 2 weeks later 1400. Who is there and who is looking

Response to what facts? I'm not stating that everyone that has bid on this item is involved in shilling. My claim is that the high bidder is.
The facts that I have stated are such:
This item typically sells in the $1K range
This item has never sold for over $1,500
This item was in my EBay Store for about a month at $1,295
The high bidder has over 70% bids going to this one seller (you've said you think that a few certain bidders have that much correlation, but I couldn't confirm and from your feedback I drew a different conclusion)
The high bidder, while bidding on over 70% of the seller's items, has never left any feedback for the seller
I am not here to argue. It's clear that you are. You clearly don't want to help, and I guess I just don't understand why you keep posting if that's the case? I don't have anything against you at all and haven't said anything derogatory toward you, but if you're not here to help, please just move along. Thanks again for your time in reading the initial thread. Take care. -Ken

I will have to agree with wheeler 100%. Your weak argument that no one bids 75% with only one seller wont hold true or schill bidding.. Say the guy can only afford this card and one other this month, and decides he will go all out on it. I again agree with wheeler on his points above
