props to RenegadeLonghorn for pointing this out last night...where's the outrage mr. silvia?
Well, unlike you I won't questions the patriotism of a man that spent 6 years in a POW camp. He has a history of wearing it. Obama only wears it because of political pressure.
I will question the patriotism of a man with a history of not respecting the flag and goes overseas to talk to thousands of Germans, but not our troops deployed until he is double dog dared. :)

see, i'm not questioning either of their patriotism...
i'm just pointing out that mccain didn't have a flag, and obama did...yet you're bashing obama for not wearing a flag pin or placing his hand over his heart

On Ayers, other than a $200 contribution to his campaign and both of them serving on the same board, what proof is there that Ayers has any sway over Obama.

That is my point. McCain has a proven history of patriotism. Obama has a 20 year history of not respecting America and he is influencing people. Just look at the video and you will see a NBA superstar disrespects the national anthem and he credits it to Obama.
-Obama attends an Anti-US church for 20 years
-Doesn't wear a flag pin until politically pressured
-Campaign overseas in Germany instead of America
-Doesn't visit US troops until he is dared
-Doesn't place his hand over his chest
-Is buddies with William Ayers a man that was responsible for bombing the Pentagon
That is just a list of the top of my head. NBA superstars and others are crediting Obama for disrespecting our national anthem. In return those that look up to the NBA stars will do the same.
Is this an influence we want as President?

guys - how is wearing a pin the same as placing your hand over your heart? I don't remember ever standing up for the national anthem and being told "now put on your pins." I don't remember any of our troops making sure their pins were on when the anthem was playing but you better believe that every last one of them (except those who have chosen to rebel and reject the country and military) have their hand over their heart.

either provide one single photo of mccain with a flag pin, or admit you were wrong....i honestly could care less if he wears one, so why do you care if obama wears one?

well because mr. silvia pointed it out as a reason obama is not patriotic enough

ok. well, me personally, I could care less about the pin. But I stand by my first post that anyone who doesn't cover their heart during the anthem is making a statement.

So, are you saying that you would sit on an 8-person board with William Ayers? So, there is you, William Ayers and 6 other people. Would you think with 8 people in total, you may have a relationship? William Ayers is a know terrorists and Obama knew who he was.
Although never convicted of any crime, he told the New York Times in September 2001, "I don't regret setting bombs...I feel we didn't do enough."
Then Ayers had Obama to his home for a fund raiser!
Ayers was clearly more than someone Obama just ran into in the neighborhood on occasion. In the mid-1990s, when Obama was making his first run for the Illinois Senate, Ayers had Obama to his home to introduce him to others.
So, he gave only $200, but he did much more than that.

Ask yourself. Would you go to William Ayers home for a fund raiser, accept $200 and site on an 8 person board with him? That is the judgment Obama made.
