VP Debate Moderated by Pro-Obama Author

Yep, no bias here! So, if Obama wins her books sales will do better. Out of thousands of potential interviewers, we have to have a women that is Pro-Obama moderating? Here is here book.

The moderator of Thursday's vice presidential debate between Democrat Sen. Joe Biden and GOP Gov. Sarah Palin is writing a book, to come out about the time the next president takes the oath of office, to "shed new light" on Democratic candidate Barack Obama and other "emerging young African American politicians" who are "forging a bold new path to political power."

Gwen Ifill, of the Public Broadcasting Service program "Washington Week," is promoting "The Breakthrough," in which she argues the "black political structure" of the civil rights movement is giving way to men and women who have benefited from the struggles over racial equality.

Mike, I couldn't find a quote or sound bite of hers saying she supports Obama. Can you provide me one?

Also she did the VP debate in 04, she is a well respected journalist and newscaster and will be professional.

Calm down dude, nothing you provided makes me think she wouldn't be professional and fair.

Why does it matter who asks the questions? So, because she's pro-Obama, Palin will have a tougher time answering questions? Like Rock said, she's a very respected member of the journalism community.

So, you guys wouldn't have a problem with Sean Hannity moderating the debate? Read her book write up on Amazon. It is a Pro-Obama book.

This is funny. No matter what I post the same guys have no issue with anything Obama does or the media bias. Her book sales are pegged to how well Obama does in the election. So, out of thousands of people that could have moderated the debate, she is the best pick? I see why you guys have no issue because you are both Obama supporters.

I have no problem with her moderating if Sean Hannity can moderate the second Presidential debate.

Because she is moderating the debate.

I don't care who reads the script. If Hannity reads at a higher level, then he'd be the better candidate.

Did you even read the title of her book?

The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama

If Hannity reads at a higher level, then he'd be the better candidate.

And there you have it. Typical of you to attack people personally instead of the issue. It weakens your credibility when you do personal attacks vice talk to the issues.

Mike do you think Obama making it this far is a breakthrough? Whether he wins or loses it is a breakthrough. I still don't see where it says she supports Obama, Even if she did, she has been moderator before and it would hurt her career if she did show a bias.

    I said well respected journalists.

So let me get this straight - the moderator of the VP debate is writing a book about Obama. Well, there you have it; all is lost; the Dems have won the election. It's obvious what will happen - Palin will have to answer different questions than Biden. Ifill will have a different intonation when she addresses Palin; she will cut her off when she attempts to answer. And of course she will smirk when Palin answers. My goodness, it's a setup if ever I saw one.

Say who? You? Should we compare viewership? Hannity has the 2nd most listened to show in radio and #1 cable TV show. Not even close. No you are in the minority in your opinion as he has 10 times the audience. Ask 10 people on the street if they know who Hannity is and who Gwen Ifill is. 99% will say, "Gwen who?" and about 80% will know who Hannity is.

What your responses do is prove my point. You guys have no problem with an obviously biased person moderating the debate and your biases/comments about Hannity show me that you would be complaining if he moderated the debate. Thanks for proven my point in about 20 minutes. :)
