    Topps Treasury discussion

Has anyone busted a box they were disappointed with? When I first read the product description, I was disappointed in the hits and cost of a box. But, Treasury has been a huge hit among box breakers. What are your thoughts on the new set? Anyone rip open some $$$?

I know I won't open any boxes, or even likely any packs of it. I want the Wade and Horford base, and think the set looks very nice. But with no Speights RC, and the fact that I have little interest in RIP cards probably means my interest in the product wouldn't be too high. Of course I know that when you open a box of something up, you immediately find all of the positives a product has. I haven't seen anyone pull a crappy auto, so that is a big plus I guess. The fact that you are guaranteed to get a relevant player's autograph is great.

yes.....it seems to be a hit for now.....but i think this trend will change very soon....it's just the first descent product out now that has rookies in professional uniforms and their aren't any rookie exclusions this year making it easier to pull better names....i'm pretty sure this product will cool down fast as soon as some more new products comes out

The base cards look plain and the refractors are hard to distinguish. The regular autograph rookie refractors aren't numbered either, which suck. But the rip cards are great, I loved the concept in baseball. Prices are low as well; my box costs $75.
