I think they made a good plan to release it early when people are jonesing for new 08-09 product. It seems they may have gone with too many parallels (again), but it's not as pricey as some high end product out there. My shop sells them for $5 a pack, which isn't too bad in this day and age. I busted two packs, and got some nice RCs. RCs and legends seem to come 1 per pack, which is cool. It seems to be better than most of Topps' newer products.

I don't bust basketball very often at all but I decided to by a box today at my shop. I hit great so I like the product. I pulled a Kobe Rip Card and a dual auto of Magic Johnson and D.J. Augustin numbered 4/5. So I won't complain about it.

I just picked up a box today and was very happy. I pulled a Derrick Rose refractor auto, and some really nice rookies. I also have 2 more boxes of this coming later in the week.

Personally I love it! Opened my first box and hit a 1 of 1 dual auto of Kevin Love & Magic Johnson, continued busting and hit a 1 of 1 auto'd printing plate of George Gervin; in the same box!
I'm selling both though, I'm just going to collect the base and auto'd rookie cards so I've got another box on the way.
