Which part of Austin do you live in? I don't recall seeing prices at $4 in Austin. I didn't pay attention to the price this morning when I left for work.

I live in south austin. I wasn't referring to austin being at $4 (though it did get as high as 3.89). I was stating that anytime it reached a new high in the nation, the last one being $4, that it is Bush's fault. Given that logic I figured he should get some credit for the low price.

gas is still 3.33 here in maryland. gas prices will drop before an election as the oil companies will want to help the republican party as they historically give big oil companies tax breaks and help profits. Gas Prices will rise after the election

gas was $1.03 on Christmas day, 2001....3 months after 9/11 when Bush was wrapping up his first year in office
So until gas is back at $1.03 (which will be never), G-dub can get a big middle finger from me!

or it might just be because barrels of oil are below $90, which, last time I checked, Bush doesn't control.

HAHA...seriously tho...this is what the point of $4 gas was in the first place....so when it dropped to $3, people would think they are getting a discount...
